Clubnight Warm-Up with Julian Smith

August 27, 2006

Yesterday evening we had the first time the true new concept of the youFM Clubnight. In the two hours of Warm-Up we had new tunes and tracks presented by Franksen. We also had a Clubnight Warm-Up resident playing, which is new to the show. This time, well . . . the first time, we had Julian Smith on the turntables with soulful house tunes and vibes. At 10pm DJ T. was on the decks. I have to say that I like this concept of the show, because this way we have two different mixes and three hours of music . . . it's almost like the good old days when the Clubnight was three hours long.

And now to something not related to music . . . SEO. I've done some search engine optmization and hope this way to get better results when someone searches for a specific subject related to the content of this website. I've changed only the page title(s) but within the next days or weeks I gonne go throught the whole website and change things that should give much more results than I get now. I'll change the <title> tags for the links which should boost not only this websites ranging also the website linked on this website. Looks like I know what I'll be doing the next couple of days . . . maybe weeks.

Magda & 5 Jahre Merkwürdiges Verhalten

August 25, 2006

Last weekend we had a mix marathon at Clubnight . . . well at least it was a marathon for me. I've recorded seven hours of muxic lastweekend. First Magda was playing in the regular Clubnight and from midnight there was a mix by Heiko M/S/O and after Someone Else ( this is the name of the DJ ) was on the decks. The mixes are not that kinda music I realy like to listen to. From the whole seven hours there were only three tracks I can say I like:

  • Booka Shade - Night Falls
  • D. Diggler - Cherrypoppers
  • Wink - Superfreak

This weekend it'll be a bit better with DJ T. .Here is the DJ Line-up for the next couple of weeks:

Dominik Eulberg mix and Clubnight facelift

August 15, 2006

It took me a while to record this weekends Clubnight. I had some hardware problems so I wasn't able to record the mix on Saturday evening nor Saturday/Sunday night, but Monday/Tuesday night I got my fingers on the record button and my computer successfully recorded the mix. This mix was the last change to record it in quite good quality.

From this weekend I'll have another chance to record the mix, just for the case that I missed the first three broadcasts. How come ? Clubnight's getting a facelift with a new program. From 20 - 22 CET Franksen will present new tunes, perfect as a warm-up for the main Clubnight mix which has moved now to 22 - 00 CET and will be mixed by some national or internation DJ's. From 00 - 02 CET there will be a Clubnight rewind, a re-broadcast of the last weeks Clubnight mix. This is good if I missed any of the revious broadcasts of that mix, it's like a backup of a backup of a backup. Of course this will be only if there isn't a Clubnight special . . . Then I'll have to get the missed mix from somewhere else. Things sound great, but if they'll be I gonna see in the future.

Gayle San playlist and some website changes.

August 1, 2006

It's done, I uploaded the playlist for Gayle San's Clubnight mix from last weekend. I also listened to it as much as I was possible with this crashing WinAmp. Anyway, the mix is fine, but currenly I'm not in the mood to listen to that kinda music, maybe in a couple of weeks, but now, I'm more into some French/Melancholy/Vocal House.

I've been doing some changes to the website, besides the updates. The changes are of a stuctural nature and I hope to make the files smaller than they were before, which could speed up the website reaction. If you have seen an Error 403 page, then it must be because of some other changes I had to do temporary. This should be gone within the next couple of days, if everything went fine. So this is it for now.
