Essential mix with Mark Knight

I just got the latest BBC Radio 1 Essential mix from November 19, 2006 with Mark Knight and I have to say it's great. The tracks are realy great, I like them. I like the mix even if it's slightly different from those I'm used to listen to, but maybe this is the reason why I dig this mix so much. The tracks simply add this special club feeling, club atmosphere to the mix I've been missing from many, many mixes I got the change linsten to in the past few months ( the neweer mixes ). I'm looking forward to listen to more mixes by Mark Knight. I can't provide you with a download link for this mix, but you can listen to it online. Tom Novy @ Clubnight, part II

Weekend's over so the no Clubnight days are here. Good that I have a lot of Clubnight mixes saved on my computer I can listen to, I also have the one from last weekend with Tom Novy, which is O.K. (I think). It's not one of those mixes I would undress and run naked around the block screaming Heureka, but it's good enough to spend some time with it, more than only one time.

Tom Novy @ Clubnight

Tonight Tom Novy is gonna be the host of the youFM Clubnight. His last Clubnight appearance was October 6, 2001 where he played his mix set after DJ Karotte. It's taken five long yars to bring him back to the Clubnight but tonight's the night. I'm looking forward to listen to his mix, although I shouldn't expect much. I don't mean this in a negative way, what I wanna say is, it's better to keep the expectations low and be surprised by the mix, than wait for something huge, big, great and wonderfull just to be dissapointed. I've been many times in such situations where I asked myself what went wrong with the mix. Anyway, I'm looking forward to get my hands on the mix, 'cos it's been a while since my ears had the chance to listen to one of his mixes.
Just for the case that "Google Alert" will alert Mr. Novy about my little entry here . . . I realy didn't mean it negative. You know how it is with the expectations . . .
youFM Clubnight mix downloads

Finally, after almost two months, I've found a website with information from where to get youFM Clubnight mixes I wasn't able to record by myself. I used Google for my search like I did before, but it seems like I searched with the wrong keywords. After I searched with an aditional keyword for the Clubnight mixes ( for which I needed two months . . . stupid me ) I got flooded with results . . . well, I got a couple of sites listed which gave me what I was searching for. I still haven't found all of the missed mixes, I still need the mixes from three Saturdays, but I'm working on this little problem.
To the Essential mixes . . . I found a couple of great resources to get those mixes aswell and I have to say that I like what I got. Unfortunatelly, only a couple of them have a high quality, a lot of them were upsampled from a low bitrate, or the source the mixes were recorded weren't the best, but still it's more than I had before. I should shut my mouth and be happy with what I got, but . . . it has to be perfect. If there is somebody who has the Essential mixes in a high quality, feel free to contact me.
