Clubnight review

The last Clubnight mix by The Timewriter was one of the best Clubnight mixes I´ve heared in the last couple of months. It was different from what´s been played since the whole show concept was changed. Since then the show got a little bit boring, what I miss is the versatility it had before. Back then we got highlights almost every weekend and now we have to wait up to a couple of months to get something great to listen to. I don't know how you think about it, but to me it's like that. I guess there are some people who can't get enough of this current show concept, but to me . . . it's kinda boring and not that interestic anymore. I keep recording the mixes, but I barely listen to them anymore, excepts are mixes like the one by The Timewriter. Aynway . . . heare are again some of my favourite songs of the last week(s).

As you can see this time it's a total mix of music styles. Here's also a song that has been on air since more than thrirty years . . . I guess this is the fav songs list that realy says that I'm into more than only one music styles.

Discofestival 2007, Kassel

Last weekend there was a Special Clubnight from the Discofestival 2007 which took place in Kassel, Germany. This whole event was broadcast in the youFM Clubnight, well actually the radio broadcast went from Saturday 10pm till Sunday 5am which makes it to a seven hour non stop mix filled with the latest electro house tracks. All this was brought to you and mixed for you by DJ Maxim & Der Gärtner, Phil Fuldner ( whom I haven't heared in a while ), Lexy & K-Paul, Tara McDonald ( who gave a great live performance on the microphone ) and The Disco Boys.

I have to admit that I didn't get throught all these mixes, but the mixes I heared so far and O.K. There are some parts that are a little boring and then there are some parts which are absolutely fantastic, but this is only my opinion which is driven by my music taste, where electro house isn't my favourite. No matter if these mixes are my favouries or not, they made my Clubnight mix collection richer. I don't know how many CD's and DVD's I have, but it's quite a lot.
